Thanks to being awarded a scholarship from CREW Cleveland, I was able to attend the 2021 CREW Network Convention in Las Vegas at the end of September. During my time at convention, I attended many small group sessions focused on specific commercial real estate topics of interest, attended a learning excursion of the Elon Musk underground vehicular tunnel and networked with women in the commercial real estate industry from all across the country. I was joined by several other members of the CREW Cleveland Chapter as well. It was great to spend time with the CREW Cleveland ladies, chatting over dinner and seeing plays and shows together. The event concluded with a powerful presentation by Sarah Thomas, the first female NFL referee and official. I left the event feeling more knowledgeable about the commercial real estate industry and empowered. Thank you CREW Cleveland for this opportunity! I look forward to attending many more conventions and highly encourage all of the women of CREW Cleveland to attend as well.
