CREW Cleveland welcomed Dr. Marla Perez-Davis as our 2021 Keynote Speaker.  A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Perez-Davis oversees a staff of more than 3,200 employees and a $900 million annual budget and is responsible for directing the activities required in accomplishing NASA’s missions assigned to the center, including the Artemis program that will put the first woman on the moon in 2024!!  An accomplished engineer, learn how she overcame obstacles to navigate a 30-year career at NASA and climb the corporate ladder in what is frequently deemed a “man’s world.”

The young ladies of St. Joseph Academy, Revere and Magnificat also enjoyed listening to Dr. Perez-Davis who boldly stated that “anything is possible if you put your mind to it!”  This was a wonderful event where the seasoned generation empowered the younger generation!  Dr. Perez-Davis inspired all who attended this event!
