The first day of the Summit focused on discussions regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion led by Janese Murray, Founder and President of Inclusion Impact Consulting, LLC. The large and small group discussions explored unconscious bias and inclusive leadership skills and behaviors. The speaker dove into the six signature traits of inclusive leaders and how to incorporate those traits into your leadership style. The six traits the Attendees learned about are:
- Cognizance of Bias
- Cultural Intelligence
The second day of the Summit gave us the opportunity to hear from Bonnie Hagemann, CEO of EDA, Inc., a top-of-the-house consulting firm known around the world for its C-Suite capabilities in executive development and research. She is one of the authors of Leading with Vision, a blueprint for creating a compelling vision and engaging the workforce. We worked on our personal vision and began creating an action plan to implement it. It was a very helpful session to get you focused on your personal goals and vision.
Attendees had the opportunity to attend dine-arounds, tour the St. Louis Gateway Arch Grounds, and, as always, lots and lots of networking!
