It was great to see the work being done to this historic building at our CREW event. Thank you to Joe DiGeronimo VP of Precision Environmental for taking the time to give us a tour. I have so many memories from the CAC since my Dad, John Veres, was a member from 1967 when he turned 30 and stayed until the doors closed. Before closing its doors in 2007, I attended over 40 Father-Daughter dances with my 2 sisters, who both had their weddings on the 7th floor; we added 7 nieces, including my brothers as fathers, to the annual dances beginning 1990; Veres and Company CPAs Christmas bowling parties on 15th floor; Santa Claus breakfasts and lunches in the gym; Friday night open gym nights-racquetball, basketball, track, swimming; annual Father-Daughter Sports Day competitions, St. Patrick's Day parties and so much more! We wish the companies on this project all the best on completion which is expected to be early 2019 with 161 apartments. Included are some photos from the Father-Daughter dances and the staircase on the 7th floor.
